Tissus choisis par Casa Lopez

Now that the House of CASA LOPEZ has opened on two levels, at 26 boulevard Raspail, to present all its collections in a single space, the historic boutique, located just across the street at 27, is changing its destination and becoming a place dedicated solely to fabrics and wallpapers.

Entirely dressed in blue, one of Pierre Sauvage's favourite colours, and fitted out by interior designer Franz Potisek, this showcase will bring together, in addition to home-made fabrics, including the iconic "outdoor" fabrics, a whole selection of fabrics and wallpapers from publishers, most of them of Anglo-Indian inspiration.

In addition to Carolina Irving Textiles already distributed exclusively in France by Casa Lopez, in the former rue du Mail space, you will now find, and still exclusively in France, the collections of Lisa Fine Textiles, Molly Mahon, Jasper (Michael Smith), Ottoline, The Rosa Bernal Collection, Carolina Irving Textiles, Fermoie, Franz Potisek Textiles...

"I wanted to open up my world to designers whose work I love and whose designs and materials blend delicately with our collections of furniture, objects and accessories; a way of widening the range of possibilities and offering our customers a complementary choice for decorating their homes. PS

“I have always been obsessed with fabrics, colors and textures…and I have always wanted to have my own collection of textiles, explains Carolina Irving, Creative Director of Home for Oscar de la Renta. in 2006, she achieved her heart’s desire, founding her own textile design atelier.

Carolina loves colors, but in an impressionistic way, mixing different patterns similar to a Vuillard painting. She has ransacked sources in France, England, Sweden and India for her toiles and chintzes, and in Turkey, Greece and other Middle Eastern countries for riotous colors and patterns that are reinterpreted in her special way.

The Rosa Bernal Collection logo

The Rosa Bernal Collection

“The Rosa Bernal Collection was born to provide designers and retailers with a product line which encapsulates the essence of 16th, 17th and 18th Century European refinement.

In order to recapture that excellence, we had to take two steps back to recover the essence of refinement, undoubtedly lost, in the name of industrial and volume production over the past four centuries. It has been an enormous challenge in every aspect, but equally fulfilling.

The collection is history itself and truly recaptures a spirit faded within time. It takes us back to a long-lost sensation of real exclusivity.” Francisco Bernal. – C.E.O. & Creative Director

Fleurons d'Hélène

Profoundly influenced by her American grandmother and mother, Helen Cormack developed a love of textiles in fashion and interiors at a very young age.

Having worked as an interior decorator for 6 years in the 1980s, Helen decided that her first love was textiles.  Over the course of the next 15 years, Helen worked for two outstanding fabric showrooms, H.A. Percheron and Claremont.

“I was so fortunate to sell some of the most beautiful European fabrics. In 2006, I started Tissus d’Helene and have been privileged to represent some of the finest fabric and wallpaper collections in the world.”

Having started collecting antique textiles from the 18th and 19th centuries, it was only a matter of time before Helen decided to launch her own collection, Fleurons d’Helene, in 2010.

“The collection continues to evolve and is a reflection of my eclectic taste and love of French and English 18th century prints, ikats, paisleys and interesting weaves.”
