About
Clavel is the Spanish word for carnation. This Sevillian flower is transformed here into a delightful decorative motif. Entirely hand-painted, the carnations, in bloom and leaves, adorn the ceramic dinner and dessert plates in various sizes (three flowers, one flower). The bread plates, meanwhile, borrow a distinctive border design from the collection, reminiscent of a stylized braid. The Clavel collection is in keeping with the Casa Lopez tradition, featuring a green and blue color scheme and this Hispanic-inspired flower, resolutely emblematic of the Mediterranean regions that the brand so cherishes.
