About Us
“This simple, fragrant, rugged rosebush almost reminds me of a wildflower.” It is to pay homage to this species, which he particularly cherishes, that Pierre Sauvage designed the Rugosa service. These hand-painted ceramic plates are decorated with a deep blue combed rim, inspired by the famous 19th-century Rousseau earthenware service. Adorned in the center with a delicate rose design—black, blue, or pink—set against a leafy branch, they are available in three sizes: dinner plates, dessert plates, and bread plates.
