A STRONG AND UNEXPECTED COLLABORATION BETWEEN CASA LOPEZ AND BASTIEN BLANC-TAILLEUR
Pierre Sauvage and Bastien Blanc-Tailleur first met about ten years ago. At the time, Pierre became the owner of Casa Lopez. Bastien then left the kitchens of the Georges V to launch his own creative studio.
He initially focused on developing wedding cakes before creating the PARIS COLLECTION, a line of celebration cakes designed for all occasions. The Casa Lopez cake enriches this range, with its distinctive aesthetic.
Bastien Blanc-Tailleur has created a collection of flavors reflecting the spirit of Casa Lopez. The cake consists of a pomegranate molasses sponge, a yellow peach compote, a peach and vanilla whipped ganache, and a crunchy almond crumble. The entire cake is covered with a white glaze, onto which birds are hand-painted. To complete the creation, sugar jasmine flowers and pomegranates add a touch of poetic elegance to the cake.

The cake features the house's iconic motif: a bird within a vegetal interlacing, rendered in shades of blue and green, colors dear to the brand. This emblematic design first adorned the house's ceramic tableware before finding its way onto lamp bases, rugs, and other tableware.
